3. INFORMATION ABOUT RESEARCH WORK:

 

 A Socio-Economic Research Survey regarding farmers’ suicides in Vidarbha region sponsored by has been conducted Late Dr.M.G. Bokare memorial Trust, Nagpur, in 2006.

 

3. ANY OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

 

i) ‘OPINION POLL’ has been conducted regarding elections of Municipal corporations in Akola – 2007.

 

ii) Opinion poll is conducted through students of department of Statistics on regular basis in every election of assembly/ loksabha.

 

iii) One Minor research project (Rs. 25,000/-) sponsored by U.G.C.

 

iv) Laboratory is equipped with computer system with internet connection.

v)  International day for disabled persons is celebrated on 3rd Dec. every year.
